A collection of novelty glazed earthenware teapots featuring varied architectural and domestic forms with polychrome decoration. The group includes a rectangular cricket pavilion teapot by The Leonardo Collection, inscribed Lilley Cricket Club with a scoreboard detail reading Home Total 197 Wkts 6 and figures in cricket whites. A second teapot is formed as a wooden kitchen trestle table, the lid decorated with applied baking implements including a rolling pin, recipe book, and mixing bowl, featuring a basketweave-moulded handle. Also included is a circular cottage-form teapot with a thatched-roof lid and timber-framing details, and a black-glazed upright piano teapot featuring a white keyboard and a figure of a cat on the lid. Each piece is finished with a translucent glaze over moulded details.
