Lot 611: A Carved Hardwood Table Lamp and a Past Times Gustav Klimt Expectation Figurine
This lot comprises two decorative items: a carved wooden table lamp and a reproduction polyresin figurine. The table lamp features a turned and carved hardwood base with foliate motifs and is fitted with a large, multi-sided fabric shade in a cream tone with a fringed border. The lamp is wired with modern white plastic flex and a standard UK three-pin plug. The figurine, manufactured by Past Times, is titled Expectation and is based on a panel from the Stoclet Frieze by Gustav Klimt (c. 1905-1909). It is constructed from polyresin and decorated with geometric triangles and spiral patterns in metallic and blue tones. The figurine retains its original retail tag.
