Lot 655: A Large Leaded Stained Glass Pendant Lamp Shade with Floral Border
A large stained glass lamp shade of shallow domed form, constructed using the copper foil technique. The primary body is composed of multiple tiers of rectangular cream-coloured opalescent slag glass panels. A decorative horizontal band encircles the lower section, featuring a repeating floral motif of six-petalled pink flowers with red centres and green leaves, set within borders of dark brownish-purple glass. The shade is fitted with a circular brass-toned metal top cap and an integrated hanging hook. A white paper label with the handwritten number 655 is adhered to the metal cap.
