Lot 682: An Upcycled Gratien & Meyer Lithographed Tin Table Lamp
A table lamp featuring a repurposed cylindrical base constructed from a lithographed metal presentation tin for Gratien & Meyer sparkling wine. The base is decorated with a panoramic scene of the Loire river and Saumur, France, alongside a representation of a wine bottle. The printed text includes Gratien & Meyer, Engagement d’une maison familiale depuis 1864, and A Family Commitment Since 1864. The lamp is fitted with a white conical fabric shade. The electrical assembly comprises a black plastic three-pin UK plug and a white plastic inline thumb switch, with the cable exiting through a hole drilled into the top of the tin base.
