Lot 689: A Collection of Art Glass Paperweights and Decorative Objects
This collection comprises several pieces of hand-blown art glass featuring diverse internal decoration techniques. The assortment includes a large clear glass conical weight with a ribbed exterior and a deep amethyst internal casing surrounding a central air bubble. One spherical paperweight displays a vibrant red core with a controlled bubble, or bullicante, pattern. A floral paperweight contains a blue lampwork flower with green foliage set within clear glass. The collection also features a spherical weight with an internal spiral of yellow and black trailing, alongside smaller spherical weights with internal multicoloured glass frit inclusions in yellow, green, orange, and white tones. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible.
