An earthenware wine cooler by Henry Watson Pottery of Wattisfield, Suffolk, from the Original Suffolk range. The cylindrical unglazed terracotta vessel features black transfer-printed typography within a circular border including the text THE ORIGINAL SUFFOLK WINE COOLER, Ideal for Use at Home or on Safari, and MADE BY HENRY WATSON POTTERY ENGLAND Founded 1800. This assortment also includes a Chinese wooden abacus with a dark wood frame and brass corner reinforcements, having two rows of beads in the upper deck and five in the lower. A cast iron arrow-shaped sign is included, bearing the word EXIT in raised relief. The group further comprises a bulbous brass vase with flared rim and pedestal base, decorated with incised floral and foliate scrollwork, a silver-toned three-branch scrolling candelabra with embossed floral motifs to the base and sconces, and a silver-toned metal chalice with an ornate knopped stem.
