Lot 733: Jim Perkey, Composite Drawing of Disney Characters, 1990
This work is a composite drawing executed in graphite on off-white wove paper, depicting a montage of classic Disney characters. The composition features central figures including Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer’s Apprentice attire, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Donald Duck, a Dalmatian puppy, Jiminy Cricket, Thumper, and Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The drawing also includes several smaller animal figures such as crows, a squirrel, and a fish, arranged in the style of an animation model sheet. The work is housed within a cream-coloured window mount and a simple black frame. Signed lower centre: Jim Perkey 1990.
