Lot 740: An Assortment of Mottahedeh Lace Pattern Porcelain Bowls and an Asian Figurine
This assortment of decorative porcelain consists of bowls in the Mottahedeh Lace pattern and an Asian character figurine. The bowls are of a circular form with gilded rims, decorated with transfer-printed geometric patterns of repeating dots and a decorative band near the foot. The collection includes pieces in both terracotta-red and teal-green colourways. The ceramic figurine depicts a figure in traditional East Asian costume, decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamels in blue and red with gilded highlights.
