This extensive collection of Denby stoneware is decorated in the Greenwheat pattern, originally designed by Albert Colledge and introduced in the 1950s. Each piece features hand-painted stylized wheat stalks in shades of blue, brown, and green on a cream ground, accented with deep teal-green glazed lids, handles, and undersides. The assortment includes functional serving pieces such as lidded circular vegetable tureens, a teapot, a rectangular lidded butter dish, a sauce boat with an integral stand, and several oval serving platters. Tableware comprises multiple stacks of dinner plates, dessert and side plates, and saucers in various sizes. The lot is completed by numerous mugs and teacups, a pair of salt and pepper shakers in a matching stand, and several lidded preserve or sugar jars.
