Lot 949: A Trio of Victorian Style Mahogany Nesting Tables
A set of three nesting side tables constructed from mahogany hardwood. Each table features a rectangular top with rounded edges and a moulded rim. The tables are supported by slender bobbin-turned legs, with the two smaller tables having matching turned stretchers. The largest table is designed with a trestle-style base featuring splayed feet for added stability. The graduated sizes allow the two smaller tables to be stored neatly beneath the largest one. The surfaces show a rich reddish-brown finish characteristic of mahogany. Paper lot labels are adhered to the tops of the two largest tables.
