Lot 982: Two early 20th-century hardwood occasional tables
This lot comprises two distinct early 20th-century occasional tables. The first is an Edwardian-style table constructed from solid mahogany, featuring a shaped top with a scalloped serpentine edge. It is supported by four slender cabriole legs ending in pad feet, which are secured by a shaped X-stretcher with a central circular platform. The second table is made from a stained hardwood and has a rectangular top decorated with a raised, carved beaded edge. Its base consists of four square-section legs with fluted or reeded detailing on the outer corners, connected by a low-level H-frame stretcher. Both pieces are marked with auction tags numbered 982. No maker’s marks are present.
