Lot 1026: A mid-20th century rattan and wicker peacock style side chair
A mid-to-late 20th-century side chair of peacock style. The frame is constructed from bent rattan with an ornate, scrolling openwork backrest featuring a central fan-like motif and multiple circular scrolls. The circular seat is finished with woven wicker. The base consists of four slightly flared legs joined by a circular rattan stretcher and additional supports, with joints secured by wicker bindings. A paper auction tag is present on the backrest which reads HCP Auctions South West, Lot 1026.
