A collection of folio-sized volumes titled The Waverley Collection of Rare and Beautiful Music, published by The Waverley Book Company Ltd., London. The volumes are bound in the publisher’s original grey cloth boards. The front covers feature a central decorative green foliate wreath with a ribbon motif, enclosing the title in gilt lettering. Internally, the work serves as an extensive anthology of classical piano scores and biographical sketches of major composers. Visible sections include a biographical entry for Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) with a monochrome portrait, and printed piano scores featuring performance markings and fingerings.
