Lot 732: A Collection of Boch Belgium and Dutch Delft Blue and White Ceramics
A collection of ceramic items featuring hand-painted underglaze blue decoration in the Dutch Delft tradition. The assortment includes a large earthenware charger with a central landscape depicting a windmill beside a waterway, enclosed by a border of concentric linear bands and four floral cartouches. The charger displays prominent concentric throwing ridges beneath the glaze. Also included is a small flared beaker vase decorated with a windmill scene, a stack of five novelty apple-shaped dishes featuring floral sprays and dark blue rims, and a small circular bowl decorated with figures in an outdoor landscape in a style influenced by Chinese export porcelain. Two small circular plates complete the group: one depicting a coastal tower and harbour scene with the word delft inscribed in lowercase script at the base of the image, and another showing a landscape with water.
