Lot 280: A Folk Art Patchwork Painted Sheet Metal Pig Sculpture
A stylized folk art metal sculpture depicting a standing pig, constructed from multiple overlapping plates of joined sheet metal. The form features a rounded segmented body supported by four short legs, with large circular disc-shaped ears and a flat circular plate for the snout. The tail consists of a single metal rod formed into a curled loop. The exterior is decorated with a multi-coloured patchwork pattern comprising shades of sky blue, white, black, and pale peach. The paint is applied in a thick, textured manner. No manufacturer marks or signatures are present. A white paper inventory sticker marked 32 is applied to the upper flank.
