A collection of approximately twenty 12-inch vinyl LP records dating from the mid-20th century, comprising vinyl discs housed in printed cardboard sleeves. The assortment covers a variety of genres including classical music, children’s Disney recordings, musical theatre soundtracks, and easy listening. Notable highlights include original Disneyland Record pressings of Walt Disney’s All the Songs from Dumbo (DQ 1204) and The Happiest Millionaire. The classical selection includes a Decca UK pressing of Bach: Brandenburg Concertos Nos. 2, 4 and 5 with Karl Münchinger and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, and Elgar: Pomp and Circumstance Marches conducted by George Weldon with the Philharmonia and London Symphony Orchestras (CLP 1380). Several Music for Pleasure (MFP) budget titles are present, including Mozart: Symphony No. 40 / Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (MFP 2104) and Grahame Dangerfield’s Sounds of the Countryside (MFP 1173).
