Lot 429: A Collection of O. Mustad and Son O'Shaughnessy Fishing Hooks, Handline Rigs, and a Novelty Plaque
A collection of commercial-grade fishing equipment and a novelty decor item. The primary components consist of three bulk boxes of O. Mustad and Son fish hooks, manufactured in Gjovik, Norway. These boxes are marked with the blue Mustad logo and feature red labels identifying the contents as Key Brand, Qual. 3407, Forged O’Shaughnessy Hooks. The hooks are specified as having a beaked point, ringed eye, and a galvanised and tinned finish. One box is marked for a quantity of 1,000 hooks. Also included are two wooden handline reels, each wound with teal-coloured braided line and rigged with multiple squid jigs and a single lead teardrop sinker.
