Lot 938: Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk
A Victorian mahogany twin pedestal desk featuring a rectangular top with a crossbanded border and an inset red leather writing surface. The desk is configured with a central frieze drawer flanked by two smaller drawers, supported by two pedestals each containing three further drawers. All drawers are fitted with turned wooden knobs and inset brass-lined keyholes. The piece is constructed from mahogany timber. A key is present in the upper right drawer. There are no visible maker’s marks or stamps.
