Lot 508: An assortment of decorative ceramics and glassware including a Portmeirion Magic City mug and blue and white transferware
An assortment of decorative ceramics, glassware, and miscellaneous household items. The collection includes an earthenware mug from Portmeirion Pottery in the Magic City pattern, designed by Susan Williams-Ellis. The mug features a black and white architectural design with red accents and bears a circular backstamp to the base for Portmeirion Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent, Made in England. The lot also contains blue and white transferware in a traditional Willow-style pattern, consisting of a large oval platter and a circular lidded tureen with a central knob handle. Three clear glass tumblers are included, each seated in a silver-toned metal filigree holder with an integrated handle. Other decorative ceramic items comprise a small globular teapot with hand-painted floral decoration on a brass-toned metal base, a white porcelain teacup with a yellow sunflower motif, and a shaped rectangular tray with a transfer-printed cottage scene. The lot is completed by a white vessel with black polka dots, along with various non-ceramic items such as a power strip, USB cables, and painted wooden toy components.
