Lot 981: A Vintage Beechwood Folding Artist's Field Easel
A vintage wooden folding artist’s field easel constructed from light-coloured beechwood with brass-toned metal hardware. The easel features a telescopic tripod base with three independently adjustable legs, providing stability for use on uneven ground. The central support mast is equipped with an adjustable canvas rest and an inclinable top bar to secure various sizes of canvas or boards. A brown leather strap is attached at the top to secure the components when the unit is folded for transport. The frame retains several temporary adhesive inventory labels, including those marked 186 and 981.
