Lot 538: Two pairs of vintage prism binoculars including a Lieberman & Gortz 10 x 35 example and a carrying case
A group lot comprising two pairs of vintage prism binoculars and a single associated carrying case. The first instrument is a Lieberman & Gortz 10 x 35 magnification model, with the maker name and magnification details marked to the shoulder plates. The optics are marked as coated. The second instrument is a 7 x 50 magnification model with a partially legible maker mark to the left shoulder plate beginning with the letters HAR. Both instruments feature metal bodies with black textured vulcanite or leatherette grip coverings and are fitted with leather neck straps. The lot includes a single black hard-shell carrying case featuring a red lining and a metal press-stud closure.
