Lot 556: A Collection of Queen Anne Bone China and Jingdezhen Porcelain Teaware and Decorative Items
A collection of ceramic wares featuring bone china trios and porcelain trios alongside assorted decorative pieces. The bone china trios are by Queen Anne, comprising teacups, saucers, and side plates decorated with a transfer-printed pattern of green and grey grape leaves and vines with gilded rims. These pieces bear the maker mark consisting of a crown above the words Queen Anne, BONE CHINA, ENGLAND. The porcelain trios comprise teacups, saucers, and side plates featuring a transfer-printed pattern of blue and white flowers with green foliage and black detailing, finished with scalloped edges and silver-toned rims. The teacups are marked on the base with a green mark for Jingdezhen, China, and the vertical text MADE IN CHINA. Additional pieces include a small white porcelain bowl with a red rose motif, a circular porcelain candle holder base with pink rose transfers and gilt lining, and a rectangular dish with a central blue-tinted handle, decorated with pink roses and a gilt-lined edge.
