Lot 686: A Collection of Ladies' Wristwatches, Costume Jewellery, and Commemorative Memorabilia
A collection of personal items comprising two ladies’ wristwatches, costume jewellery, a trade union badge, and accessories. The first timepiece is a gold-tone Sekonda wristwatch featuring a white dial with black Arabic numerals and a black leather-effect strap. The second is a vintage gold-tone Newman cocktail watch with a flexible metal expansion bracelet, the dial inscribed with 21 jewels and Denmark. Jewellery items include a plain silver-tone band ring and a twisted metal torque-style bangle with spherical terminals. Also included is a circular enamel commemorative badge for the Broadcasting and Entertainment Trades Alliance 1990, referencing 50 years and the associated unions ABS and NATTKE. The lot is completed by a small rectangular portrait photograph of a child in a Greek key pattern frame and a pair of translucent plastic eyeglass frames housed in a blue velvet-lined storage box. The metal components appear to be base metal with gold or silver-toned plating.
