Lot 155: A Vintage Corgi Mercedes-Benz 207D Parcel Force Van
A vintage Corgi Chinese-made Mercedes-Benz 207D Parcel Force van, finished in a characteristic bright red livery. The vehicle body features white printed text reading PARCEL*FORCE along the sides and front, accompanied by the brand starburst logo and smaller Royal Mail lettering. Both the driver and passenger doors are embellished with a small gold crest featuring a crown above the initials ER. The die-cast metal body is mounted on a textured black plastic base which is embossed with the manufacturer name corgi, the model MERCEDES-BENZ 207D, and the origin MADE IN CHINA. This model includes its original window-style display box with a printed cardboard base and clear plastic cover. The van is fitted with free-rolling plastic wheels and clear glazing. A white adhesive auction label from HCP Auctions South West identifying the item as Lot 155 is attached to the plastic packaging.
