A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear die-cast 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K model car, reference number Y-20. The vehicle features a white painted body decorated with a fine red coachline, complemented by a red plastic interior and red spoked wheels with white-wall tyres. The model includes various chrome-effect plastic components including the front radiator grille, headlights, front and rear bumpers, and a rear-mounted spare tyre. The underside of the chassis is finished in polished chrome and features multiple embossed marks reading MATCHBOX, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR Y-20, MERCEDES-BENZ 540 K, 1937, LESNEY PROD. & CO.
