Lot 220: A Vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-22 Maggi's 1930 Ford Model 'A' Van
A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-22 Maggi’s 1930 Ford Model ‘A’ van, manufactured in England. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components, finished in a bright yellow body with a contrasting red plastic roof insert and a black chassis with matching fenders. The sides of the van are decorated with promotional graphics for Maggi’s, including the text ‘Maggi’s’ in red script, ‘Suppen- & Speisen-Würze’, and ‘MAGGI-Gesellschaft’ alongside a four-pointed star ‘SCHUTZMARKE’ logo. The vehicle is equipped with silver-tone spoked wheels, white-wall tyres, and a side-mounted spare wheel.
