Lot 165: A Pair of Vintage Galvanised Steel Roof Ladder Hooks
A pair of vintage galvanised steel roof ladder hooks, designed to adapt a standard extension ladder for safe use on pitched roofs. Each arm is constructed from tubular galvanised steel formed into a large-scale hook shape. The apex of each hook is fitted with a pair of hard plastic wheels to allow the ladder to be rolled up the roof slope before being flipped over for secure placement. Each hook is supplied with two adjustable steel U-bolt clamps for securing the fitting to the rungs of a ladder. The terminal ends of the hooks are finished with protective black rubber buffers. One arm bears a green adhesive tape label manually inscribed in black ink with ROOF LADDER FITTING 7290, and a small white paper tag reading Lot 165. No manufacturer brand name is visible on the items.
