Lot 194: A Trio of Vintage Reconstituted Stone Garden Urns
A trio of vintage reconstituted stone garden urns of two varying designs, featuring a weathered sandy-grey finish. The lot contains a matching pair of tulip-form planters and a single scroll-decorated urn. The pair is constructed with deep, bowl-shaped bodies and prominent scalloped rims, set upon fluted pedestal stems with octagonal bases. The single urn displays a classical form with a rolled rim and a decorative band of relief-moulded scrollwork and acanthus motifs to the exterior, resting on a circular pedestal base. The stone surfaces exhibit a natural weathered patina with visible moss growth and lichen. A white adhesive label printed with the numerals 194 is affixed to the exterior of one tulip-form urn, and a handwritten interior label appears to read £ 22.00; another urn in the group also bears an adhesive label reading 194. No manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on the bodies or bases of any piece.
