Lot 280: Vintage Bosch PST 850 PE Plastic and Metal Jigsaw
A vintage Bosch PST 850 PE plastic and metal jigsaw, housed within its original green moulded plastic carry case. This Swiss-made corded power tool is constructed with a green plastic housing, a black rubberised grip for improved handling, and a stamped metal base plate. It is a 620W model designed for an 85mm cutting depth, featuring a four-stage adjustable pendulum action switch, a variable speed trigger, and an SDS tool-free blade change mechanism. The side of the tool body features a printed technical information label which reads BOSCH, 620W, 85mm, 0 603 383 742, 230V~ 50Hz 2.85A, Made in Switzerland, n0 = 500 – 3100 min-1, and 182071850 2001, accompanied by a CE mark and a double-insulated symbol. The main housing bears the maker’s name BOSCH in raised red lettering, partially covered by a white auction sticker reading Lot 281. The accompanying green plastic carry case features red sliding latches and is marked on the lid with BOSCH in large red characters, next to a handwritten label on white tape reading 5766. The tool is fitted with a standard UK three-pin plug.
