Lot 493: A Quantity of Vintage Synthetic Artificial Grass Turf Remnants
A quantity of vintage synthetic artificial grass turf remnants, consisting of several rolls of varied dimensions presented in a cardboard box. The synthetic grass features multi-length green blades designed to replicate a natural lawn, woven into a flexible dark rubberised backing. The backing displays a grid-like texture on the reverse side, typical of polypropylene landscape materials intended to aid drainage and stability. The synthetic fibers maintain a uniform bright green colour and are clean throughout the pile. A white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the exterior of the cardboard box, though the text is not clearly legible (Photo 1). The lot appears to comprise offcuts from a landscaping installation, evidenced by the varying widths of the rolls and the characteristic fraying at the cut margins.
