Lot 506: Two Vintage Mid-Century Modern Chrome Table Lamps
Two vintage mid-century modern chrome table lamps of mismatched design. The first lamp features a flared trumpet-style base rising to a cylindrical stem, supporting a cylindrical cream fabric drum shade. The base is constructed from polished chrome-plated metal and is fitted with a black plastic power cord terminating in a standard UK 3-pin plug marked FUSED. The second lamp comprises a hexagonal faceted column base in polished chrome-plated metal, topped with a white fabric drum shade. This lamp is fitted with a white plastic power cord and a matching UK 3-pin plug marked FUSED. Both lamps are fitted with standard screw-in bulb sockets. No maker’s marks, manufacturer’s labels, or country-of-origin marks are visible on either piece.
