Lot 1019: A Vintage Dul River Studio Doll Parts Kit
A vintage Dul River Studio doll parts kit, comprising an assortment of unpainted bisque components intended for doll assembly and custom painting. The set includes multiple unpainted, flesh-toned bisque doll heads, each featuring open eye sockets for the insertion of separate eye components. A synthetic black wig, size 14-15 and labelled Raven, is included in its original plastic packaging bearing a barcode sticker with the code RU14BX. The exterior of the white cardboard box features the printed words DUL RIVER STUDIO in a stylised, blocky black typeface. Affixed to the lid is a colour photograph of a finished sleeping baby doll bearing a date stamp of 7 10 94, alongside a handwritten note in black ink stating Bisque Ready to Paint. wig + eyes. The box also bears a white adhesive auction label printed with Lot 1019 and HCP Auctions South West.
Condition report:
The bisque heads and components appear structurally sound with no visible chips or cracks (photo 2). The synthetic wig remains in its original plastic sleeve (photo 2). The exterior cardboard box shows significant water staining and discolouration, particularly along the bottom and side edges (photo 1).
