Lot 588: A Collection of Ty Beanie Babies Plush Soft Toys
An assortment of Ty Inc. Beanie Babies plush soft toys manufactured from synthetic plush fabric with plastic safety eyes and internal plastic pellet filling. The collection includes a bear with a white face, a blue head featuring white stars, and a red-and-white striped body. A pair of graduation-themed owls are present, one grey and white and the other brown and white, both wearing black felt mortarboards with white embroidery reading ‘CLASS OF’. A magenta bear features an embroidered motif of the sun and earth on its chest. Also included are a pink bear, a pastel multi-coloured tie-dye bear, and a white bear with a red neck ribbon and a red embroidered heart. A tan and brown animal and the lower portion of a zebra-striped toy are also visible. Most items retain their red heart-shaped card swing tags featuring a yellow border and white lowercase characters reading ‘ty’. Small white fabric labels are attached to the bodies, printed with the text ‘The Beanie Babies Collection’. One tag displays a partial barcode with the numbers ‘008421’.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good and clean condition. Original heart-shaped swing tags are present on the majority of the toys, showing minor creasing to the card surface (photo 1). There are no visible tears, heavy staining, or significant loss of plush fabric from the angles provided (photos 1, 2, and 3).
