Estimated price: £3 - £5

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of vintage wooden walking sticks and a LEKI trekking pole, featuring varying designs for country and hiking use. The group includes a traditional shepherd’s crook fashioned from a single piece of light-toned wood, likely ash or chestnut, with an integral curved handle and a large black rubber ferrule. A standard walking cane is constructed from a thinner wooden shaft with a dark brown finish and a smaller curved handle. The third wooden item is a thumb stick created from a natural bifurcated branch with the bark retained, fitted with a brass-coloured metal ferrule. The collection also contains an adjustable LEKI trekking pole with a telescoping metal shaft finished in black and purple paint. This pole features a T-shaped ergonomic grip bearing the name LEKI printed vertically in capitalised letters; the brand name LEKI is also printed on the telescoping shaft.

Condition report:

The shepherd\'s crook shows visible surface scratches and minor abrasions to the wood, particularly at the curve of the handle (photo 1), with moderate wear to the rubber ferrule (photo 2). The darker curved cane exhibits general scuffing throughout the finish, and the rubber ferrule is heavily worn and appears to be cracking (photo 2). The LEKI trekking pole displays significant cosmetic wear with numerous scratches and paint loss across the metal shaft (photo 2), and the handle shows signs of heavy use (photo 1). The wooden thumb stick is in good used condition with minor tarnishing to the metal ferrule (photo 2).
