Lot 1107: A Pair of Vintage Brakeburn Floral Print Rubber Wellington Boots
A pair of vintage Brakeburn floral print rubber Wellington boots, featuring a tall shaft design with an adjustable side buckle strap at the outer top edge. The uppers are constructed from black rubber and decorated with a high-contrast white stylized floral and botanical print. Each boot is finished with a red rectangular rubber patch applied to the upper shaft, featuring the brand name Brakeburn in white script. Two adhesive labels are present on the shaft of one boot; a white rectangular lot sticker reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 1107 and a smaller white price sticker marked 5.00. The boots are fitted with black rubber soles featuring a deep chevron and horizontal tread pattern with a low block heel. A small square moulded into the underside of the sole contains the numeral 7, indicating a UK size 7.
Condition report:
The boots are in used condition. The rubber uppers appear structurally sound but have adhesive auction and price stickers attached (photo 1). The soles show moderate wear and have a significant quantity of dried mud, grit, and organic debris embedded within the treads (photo 2).
