Lot 1106: A Vintage Goodmans Red Suitcase Turntable with Bluetooth Functionality
A vintage Goodmans red suitcase turntable with Bluetooth functionality, housed in a portable briefcase-style case featuring a red textured synthetic exterior and a contrasting cream-coloured interior. The unit is equipped with a three-speed belt-drive record player designed for 33, 45, and 78 RPM playback, featuring a tonearm fitted with a red stylus and an integrated storage slot for a 45 RPM spindle adapter. The control interface includes a rotary power and volume knob, an auto-stop toggle switch, and a selector for the Bluetooth function. The interior lid is printed with a literal black wordmark reading Goodmans. Additional markings include the letters B T beside a toggle switch and a power knob labeled O N and O F F. The turntable is accompanied by a white UK three-pin mains power adapter and a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable. A white adhesive auction label is present on the deck, printed with HCP Auctions South West Lot 1106.
Condition report:
The turntable appears to be in good cosmetic condition with no significant signs of wear or damage to the red exterior or the internal deck components (photo 1). The tonearm and stylus are present and appear intact. The unit is offered as untested for functional electronic performance, and the power-on status has not been demonstrated (photo 2).
