Lot 1152: A Vintage Pine Two-Piece Welsh Dresser / Kitchen Hutch
A vintage pine two-piece Welsh dresser / kitchen hutch of traditional farmhouse construction. The upper hutch section features a shaped top rail over a decorative lattice-work frieze and two cupboard doors with arched field panels, supported by shaped side-scrolled uprights flanking an open display area. The lower sideboard comprises two drawers with turned wooden knobs over two matching cupboard doors with arched field panels, the whole unit finished in a medium-honey stain with prominent grain and standing on a plinth base. Hardware includes black-finished metal surface-mount H-hinges. Several adhesive labels are present including a small pink circular sticker to the front corner of the hutch base with the handwritten number 32, a white rectangular label to the right side of the lower section with the printed number 1152, and a white rectangular label to the side of the upper section reading 1030.

Condition report:
The item shows signs of regular use and wear throughout. There are visible scuffs, scratches, and small indentations to the timber, particularly along the edges and on the side panels (photo 2, 3). The finish shows some minor fading and tonal variation (photo 1). No keys are present for the locks.
