Lot 700: A Collection of Vintage Cliff Richard Vinyl 7" Singles
A collection of vintage Cliff Richard vinyl 7″ singles, primarily dating from the late 1980s and early 1990s. The assortment includes various chart hits housed in their original picture sleeves, as well as one disc in a generic white paper sleeve. One sleeve is printed with the artist’s name CLIFF RICHARD in yellow block capitals and the title Some People in gold cursive script; it bears a pink circular adhesive price sticker marked 5.00 applied to the upper centre. Another sleeve features a red circular hype sticker reading featuring WE SHOULD BE TOGETHER plus MISS YOU NIGHTS (LIVE) XMAS 91. A visible record label is black with silver print reading COLUMBIA and CLIFF RICHARD, listing tracks including Don’t Talk To and Say You’ll Be Mine. The collection also includes a sleeve with the word CLIFF printed in large white serif font on a red background, and a purple sleeve with the title MISTLETOE printed in green block capitals. The records are produced by labels including EMI and Columbia.
Condition report:
The picture sleeves generally appear in fair condition, showing visible ring wear, edge wear, and corner creasing throughout (photo 1). A pink adhesive price sticker is present on the front of the Some People sleeve. The visible record labels appear clean and legible. The vinyl media has not been play-tested for audio fidelity or surface noise, though no significant damage is immediately apparent to the exposed surfaces. One single lacks its original picture sleeve and is housed in a plain white paper sleeve.
