Lot 765: A Collection of Vintage SylvaC and Hornsea Decorative Ceramic and Stoneware
A collection of vintage SylvaC and Hornsea decorative ceramic and stoneware, including pictorial plates, planters, and figurines. The group features a large wall plate depicting a medieval jousting scene with knights in armour within a decorative scrolling border. A cobalt blue commemorative plate is decorated with a central arrangement of Allied World War I flags and a gilded filigree rim. Two planters are formed as textured brown-glazed tree trunks, one featuring a white rabbit and the other a squirrel. Further items include a sage green lidded jar with a transfer-printed vintage automobile, a white porcelain bud vase with floral decoration, a rectangular floral dish, and various small animal figurines including a grey fish, a brown dog, and polychrome birds.
