Lot 875: A Mid-Century Oval Teak Tabletop
A Mid-Century oval teak tabletop, featuring a prominent wood grain and a reddish-brown finish characteristic of tropical hardwoods. The top is of oval form with a rounded edge profile, showing a rich, figured grain pattern across the expansive surface. The construction appears to be a thick veneer or solid wood, though the base and support structure are entirely absent. A white rectangular adhesive label is applied to the upper surface, printed with the digits 875. A small pink circular sticker is located near the lower edge, marked with the number 32, and a second pink sticker is present on the left edge with illegible characters. A fragment of a torn white paper label is also visible in the lower-right quadrant, alongside some residue from previous pricing or inventory stickers.

Condition report:
The surface shows significant wear consistent with domestic use and age. Several dark circular stains, likely from water or heat, are scattered across the top (photo 1). Numerous surface scratches, scuffs, and small indentations are visible throughout the central area and periphery. The finish appears dull and worn, particularly along the outer edges where the underlying wood is exposed due to abrasion (photo 1). Adhesive residue from previous labels is also present on the wood surface.
