Estimated price: £10 - £15

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of vintage vinyl LP records, comprising several 12-inch albums from the mid-to-late 20th century. The visible items include a Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren collaboration released under the EMI ‘One Up’ budget label, featuring a photographic cover from the film The Millionairess. Also present is the album Musical by organist Klaus Wunderlich, which displays a nighttime cover photograph of Times Square with prominent ‘BOND CLOTHES’ neon signage. A third compilation album is partially visible, listing 1970s and early 1980s hits including ‘YMCA’, ‘I Will Survive’, and ‘Making Your Mind Up’. The Klaus Wunderlich sleeve bears a red circular adhesive label reading ‘Special Purchase £2.99’ with the price struck through and ‘2.00’ handwritten, alongside ‘46510’ and ‘8/86’. It also features a small pink circular sticker marked ‘£4’ and a white rectangular auction tag reading ‘HCP Auctions South West Lot 879’. The albums are presented in a leopard-print lined display tray.

Condition report:

The album sleeves exhibit varied signs of shelf wear and age. The jackets for Peter Sellers and Klaus Wunderlich are contained within clear plastic outer sleeves which appear clouded and carry multiple adhesive stickers (photo 1). The pop compilation record shows more pronounced wear to the cardboard edges and corners (photo 1). As the vinyl discs have not been removed from their sleeves, the condition of the media is unknown and playback quality is not guaranteed.
