Lot 934: A Vintage Cherry-Finish Four-Drawer Chest / Storage Unit
A vintage cherry-finish four-drawer chest / storage unit, featuring a minimalist rectangular form. The carcase is constructed from engineered wood with a reddish-brown cherry-effect veneer. The four drawers are arranged vertically, each of equal height. The top drawer is distinctive, featuring a framed front with a central inset panel of frosted glass, operated by a small rectangular silver-toned knob. The three remaining drawers have solid fronts and are fitted with large, satin-finish metal arc-shaped pull handles. For ease of movement, the unit is mounted on four small black casters. A white adhesive sticker is located on the top panel, reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 934 www.hcpauctions.net. No manufacturer labels or further marks are discernible.

Condition report:
There are several notable surface scratches and marks across the top panel (photo 2). Minor wear and scuffing are visible along the edges and corners of the cherry-finish veneer (photo 3). A small mark or slight surface abrasion is present on the frosted glass insert of the uppermost drawer (photo 1). No other visible faults are present.
