Lot 945: A Vintage Quilted Fabric Cot Mattress
A vintage quilted fabric cot mattress, presented within a clear plastic vacuum-sealed storage bag. The mattress is upholstered in a white quilted fabric with a diamond-stitched motif, intended for use with a cot or toddler bed. The internal core remains concealed but retains a firm rectangular shape. The accompanying clear plastic storage bag features a green sliding-zip closure and a green circular vacuum valve on the front surface. An adhesive auction lot tag reading Lot: 94 is visible on the adjacent frame. No manufacturer’s brand name, safety warnings, or material composition labels are clearly legible through the plastic film.
Condition report:
The mattress is in used condition with visible evidence of wear. Notable brown spotting and staining are present on the white quilted cover, seen through the transparent bag (photo 1). The vacuum bag appears to have maintained a functional seal, though the exterior surface shows creases and light scuffing consistent with handling and storage.
