The chair features a curved top rail supported by six turned spindles flanked by two outer turned uprights which lead directly into the rear legs. The seat is shaped with a shallow saddle contour for comfort and is supported by four turned legs with simple ring details. The backrest bears a white rectangular adhesive label reading HCF Auctions above Lot 958 and a pink circular adhesive label marked with the number 32. A white tie-on tag is attached to a rear leg bearing a £ symbol followed by an illegible price.
Large-scale furniture items; exact dimensions are not provided.
Condition report:
The chair is in good used condition with visible surface scuffs and light scratches across the seat and top rail (photo 1). There is minor dust accumulation within the turned joints and recessed details, though the varnished finish remains generally glossy throughout.
