Start price: £5

Estimated price: £5 - £8

Buyer's Premium:

A vintage cream-coloured and silver-toned adjustable desk lamp, featuring an articulated design likely from the late 20th century. The lamp is constructed with a domed shade finished in a cream-coloured coating, notably featuring a large, integrated D-shaped handle at the top for positional adjustment. This head is mounted to a silver-toned metal arm composed of two hinged sections with visible tension springs and pivot joints. The underside of the lamp head features a small white rectangular adhesive label, visible in the glass reflection, with characters that appear to read ‘826’ or ‘828’, though they are not fully legible as a maker name. An additional tag with hand-written numbers ‘5766’ is visible on an adjacent object in the background. The lamp is equipped with a white electrical cord, although the plug is not pictured.

Condition report:

The lamp shows signs of age and use consistent with a vintage item. The cream-coloured shade has several visible scuff marks and surface grime across the exterior (photo 1). The articulated silver-toned arm displays areas of light pitting and surface oxidation along the metal surface (photo 1). The joints appear to move freely but the internal springs and electrical components have not been tested for safety or function. All vintage electrical items should be inspected by a qualified professional before use.
