Lot 112: An Assortment of Potted Salvia and Lavender Garden Plants
An assortment of potted Salvia and lavender garden plants, featuring a selection of established flowering perennials and aromatic herbs. The salvia specimens show characteristic square stems and serrated green foliage, currently in bloom with elongated spikes of vibrant purple flowers emerging from near-black calyces. These features are highly consistent with the Salvia ‘Amistad’ cultivar. The lavender plants display narrow, silvery-grey aromatic foliage and upright flower spikes. Also included within the lot is a mint plant with dense green foliage and small clusters of pale purple flowers. The specimens are housed in standard black and terracotta-coloured plastic nursery pots. The black plastic transport tray bears a white adhesive label, handwritten in black ink with the lot number 5803 on the first line, followed by the genus SALVIA on the second line, and LAVEDER on the third line. The characters are clearly legible despite the misspelling of lavender on the label.
