Lot 240: A Pair of Reconstituted Stone Pedestal Garden Urns in the Fleur-De-Lis Pattern
A pair of reconstituted stone garden urns of pedestal form in the Fleur-De-Lis pattern, featuring bulbous bodies decorated with relief-moulded scroll and foliated motifs. The decorative scheme includes repeated fleur-de-lis-style scrolls around the circumference of each urn. Each vessel is supported by a waisted stem that terminates in a circular flared base with tiered moulding. The items are of cast concrete construction with a coarse-textured finish. A hand-written pink adhesive note is present in the interior of one urn reading ‘Fleur-De-lys 9622 £30’. No permanent maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the interior or exterior surfaces of either piece.
