Lot 288: An Assortment of Decorative Home Items Including a Shell-Encrusted Clock and a Folk-Style Angel Doll
An assortment of decorative home items comprising a shell-encrusted clock, an angel doll, a starfish ornament, and artificial foliage. The rectangular tabletop clock is finished with a dense arrangement of various small seashells across the frame and features a border of red beads around the circular face. The white clock face is printed with black Arabic numerals; a printed maker name is located below the twelve o’clock position but is not legible. The angel doll is dressed in a folk-style costume with a beaded red vest, a white blouse, and a tiered pink mesh skirt. The doll has dark hair with floral embellishments and gold-toned wings on the back. The collection includes a large, white, knobby starfish ornament and a variety of artificial silk and plastic flora, including red poppies, blue cornflowers, pink roses, white daisies, ivy, and olive branches with fruit.
