A Hua Brand miniature katana and decorative fantasy shield plaque. The miniature katana features a hilt wrapped in yellow and black cord over a dark base, fitted with a circular dark metal guard. Its scabbard is finished in a textured bronze and brown crackle effect. The set includes a black plastic two-tiered display stand, which bears an oval adhesive label printed with the text HUA BRAND MINI SWORDS * 2003 *. The accompanying wall-mounted plaque is of cast construction with an antiqued bronze-effect finish, depicting a high-relief monstrous or demonic head with horns and bared teeth. This central motif is framed by acanthus-style scrollwork and a laurel wreath border, with a repeating foliate pattern along the shield-shaped edge.
