Lot 565: A Set of Three Decorative Japanese-Style Swords with Display Stand
A set of three decorative Japanese-style swords, comprising a katana, wakizashi, and tanto, accompanied by a three-tiered black-lacquered wooden display stand. The blades are constructed from polished steel featuring a visible faux-hamon and decorative scrollwork etching near the habaki. The handles and scabbards are fashioned from wood with a green-stained finish, embellished with ornate cast metal fittings. These fittings, including the pommel caps, collars, guards, and scabbard bands, are decorated with embossed phoenix and floral motifs. The handles are further detailed with small metal floral studs. Small, stamped marks are present on the blades near the guard, though these characters are not legible as a specific maker or name.
